Dr. Anna Pecoraro, a Clinical Psychologist at Integrity Counseling Services, has been chosen by Dr. World Productions® and Dr. America® to receive the Dr. New Jersey America 2024 Award. The pageant’s mission is to create an environment of women supporting and mentoring women. Dr. Anna will be representing the state of New Jersey in the 2024 Dr. America® nationwide pageant,
“I am humbled to have been chosen as Dr. New Jersey America 2024,” notes Dr. Anna. “I will be competing in the 2024 Dr. America Pageant, and will spend my reign as Dr. New Jersey serving others and promoting my platform of Promoting Peace through the Arts, Spirituality/Faith and Psychology.”
Dr. Anna is a clinical psychologist licensed in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia. As a psychologist, she sees her patients virtually in those states and in many other jurisdictions via her PSYPACT credential. She is also a registered nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania.
As a psychotherapist, Dr. Anna specializes in assisting people who have suffered psychological trauma or who have addictive behaviors; she also works with people with other difficulties. She helps patients to understand how their past experiences have impacted their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, body, relationships, and present reality. She also assists patients in examining and changing unhealthy thinking and relationship patterns, and expressing and regulating emotions.
As a musician, visual artist, and athlete (figure skater), Dr. Anna helps interested patients to integrate the arts, creativity and physical activities into their daily routines to assist emotional well-being.
